Mr. Oswald Ortiz brings more than 15 years of telecommunications experience to Qnective. In November 2007, he accepted the position of President and CEO. Since then, he has assembled the team who has developed Qnective’s innovative product and service offering and prepared the company to be a leader in the marketplace.

Prior to Qnective, Mr. Ortiz provided telecommunications expertise to other companies as an independent consultant. His deep industry knowledge was developed during his years as the CEO of the Swiss presence of Tiscali AG, an international Internet Service Provider.

Additionally, he headed up sales and marketing operations at the wholesale unit from Switzerland’s leading telecommunications company Swisscom AG. Both tenures were results driven for Mr. Ortiz. His efforts with Tiscali resulted in a corporate turn around which increased market share by 38% in one year. He continued achieving the company’s aggressive growth targets by deploying innovative programs and new technologies like VoIP.

At Swisscom AG, Mr. Ortiz had direct management of more than 130 employees and was responsible for annual revenues of 2.3 billion CHF.
